The collection that Maurice Clabaugh presents for us is always intriguing and this month’s selection is no exception. The deep vessel on the left is turned from a piece of Walnut and has a bark-crowned rim. Maurice manages to leave the bark on most his pieces which is a real accomplishment – especially when one considers pieces like the spalted Oak winged piece in the background or the spalted Mango deep winged vessel on the far right. Speaking of spalted pieces, notice the Maple bowl in the foreground. Real nice collection Maurice.
