Anyone who has ever wanted to try turning segmented bowls missed a real opportunity to learn how it’s done if they missed the March meeting. Mark Kauder of Phenix City put on a demonstration for us complete with jigs, handy tips and loads of advice on everything from which glue and saw blade to use to how to build a sled to cut those tiny pieces and which finish to apply to your completed masterpiece.
