These bark-edge pieces were presented by Maurice Claubaugh. They are all great examples of Maurice’s work. One of the pieces (forefront) was turned from a piece that came from a Southern Red Oak chosen as Alabama Champion. Another unique piece is the Boxelder vase. Instead of the usual red or pink makings, it has an orange stripe. The other pieces are turned from Black Cherry burl and Wormy spalted Oak.
