If you don’t happen to have an old bowling ball lying around (Daniel Aultman –pictures-May 2006) or some plywood to glue up (Will Pate – Oct. 2005) or deer antler (Harold Hall - Sept. 2005), Ambrosia Maple makes great turning material. Just ask Johnny Carpenter – it makes a beautiful bowl!
