Will Pate brought in these two small pieces. The one on the left appears to be Maple and is the result of Will’s session with Lawrence Thomas to learn how to decorate with Lawrence’s famous "whoopity-do" ruffled top. Will insisted that the piece on the right, which is spalted White Pine, was not finished but he finally relented to letting me photograph it anyway. It’s real nice - even if it is unfinished.
