Here are pictures from the Tom Fortenbery workshop held July 9, 2006.  Each member of the class made a nice hollow turned vase with contrasting wood base and top like the one Tom made in his Saturday demo.  They used Tom’s unique finishing technique using thin CA glue to seal the vessel on the lathe then spraying with lacquer making a beautiful and shiny finish.
