Here are two really nice hollow forms turned by Dick Barkhurst. Deep pieces like these are more difficult to turn, but the finished piece is worth the effort. Dick says that the piece on the left is Pecan and since neither of us knew for sure…we’ll call the one on the right "Mystery wood".
